The first cool place to go is “The museum of the Cherokee Indian” – Here you can see the statue of Jerry Wolf, who was a great Cherokee leader and activist that Michael and I met on my our first visit and who autographed our brochures. You can also learn a about the history of the Cherokee Indians, starting with a video simulating sitting around the campfire listening to stories. Then you walk through the museum and read, see and listen to all kinds of interesting facts and stories. At the end there is also a really, really nice gift shop. 🙂 Check it out!
